【摘要】:Dataobtainedbythistestmethodshallnotbeusedtopredictthebehaviorofmaterialsatelevatedtemperaturesexceptinapplicationsinwhichtheconditionsoftime,temperature,methodofloading,andstressaresimilartothosespecifiedinthetest.Thisstandardisparticularlysuitedforqualitycontrolanddevelopmentwork.Thedataarenotintendedforuseindesignorpredictingenduranceatelevatedtemperatures.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesthedeterminationofthetemperatureatwhichthespecificmodulusofatestspecimenisrealizedbydeflectioninthree-pointbending.Thistemperatureisidentifiedasthedistortiontemperaturemeasured.Thedistortiontemperatureisthattemperatureatwhichatestspecimenofdefinedgeometrydeformstoalevelofstrainunderappliedstressof0.455(MethodA)and1.82MPa(MethodB)(66and264psi)equivalenttothoseusedinTestMethodD648.Thetestmaybeperformedovertherangeoftemperaturefromambientto300x00B0;C.Note18212;ThistestmethodisintendedtoprovideresultssimilartothoseofTestMethodD648butareperformedonathermomechanicalanalyzerusingasmallertestspecimen.EquivalenceofresultstothoseobtainedbyTestMethodD648hasbeendemonstratedonalimitednumberofmaterials.Untiltheuserdemonstratesequivalence,theresultsofthistestmethodshallbeconsideredtobeindependentandunrelatedtothoseofTestMethodD648.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4ThereisnoISOstandardequivalenttothistestmethod.
