【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1Thisstandardshallspecifyminimumdesign,performance,testing,andcertificationsrequirementsforlifesafetyrope,escaperope,waterrescuethrowlines,lifesafetyharnesses,belts,andauxiliaryequipmentforemergencyservicespersonnel.1.1.2Thisstandardshallspecifyrequirementsfornewlifesafetyrope,escaperope,waterrescuethrowlines,lifesafetyharnesses,belts,andauxiliaryequipment.1.1.3Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforanyaccessoriesthatcouldbeattachedtothecertifiedproduct,butarenotnecessaryforthecertifiedproducttomeettherequirementsofthisstandard.1.1.4Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforanyutilityrope.1.1.5Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforanyropeorassociatedequipmentdesignedformountainrescue,caverescue,leadclimbingoperations,orwhereexpectedhazardsandsituationsdictateotherperformancerequirements.1.1.6*Thisstandardshallnotspecifyrequirementsforanyropeorequipmentforfallprotectionpertainingtoemployeesofgeneralindustryortheconstructionanddemolitionindustry.1.1.7Thisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcernsassociatedwiththeuseofcompliantlifesafetyropeorassociatedequipment.Itshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusecompliantlifesafetyropeorassociatedequipmenttoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.1.8Thisstandardshallnotbeconstruedasaddressingallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwiththeuseofthisstandardbytestingfacilities.Itshallbetheresponsibilityofthepersonsandorganizationsthatusethisstandardtoconducttestingoflifesafetyropetoestablishsafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortousingthisstandardforanydesigning,manufacturing,andtesting.1.1.9Nothinghereinshallrestrictanyjurisdictionormanufacturerfromexceedingtheseminimumrequirements.
