【摘要】:Thistestmethodcovershowtomeasuretheapparentviscosityofusedandsoot-containingengineoilsatlowtemperatures.Ashearrateofapproximately0.2s-1isproducedatshearstressesbelow200Pa.Apparentviscosityismeasuredcontinuouslyasthesampleiscooledatarateof3Cperhourovertherangeof5to40C.Themeasurementsresultingfromthistestmethodareviscosity,themaximumrateofviscosityincrease(GelationIndex)andthetemperatureatwhichtheGelationIndexoccurs.Applicabilitytopetroleumproductsotherthanengineoilshasnotbeendeterminedinpreparingthistestmethod.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Significance:Thebar-spliceassemblytestspecimenshallcloselyrepresentthemechanicalspliceusedinpractice.Thebehaviorofthebar-spliceassemblyembeddedinconcrete,however,maydifferfromitsbehaviorduringtestingwhereitisnotembeddedinconcrete.Usefulness:Testingofmechanicalsplicesforreinforcingbarsshallestablishthebehaviorofthebar-spliceassemblyundertheloadingconditionsdescribedhereinforthevarioustestmethodstodeterminetheacceptabilityofthemechanicalspliceforuseinreinforcedconcretestructuralmembersunderspecificdesigncriteria.InterpretationofTestResults:Similarorbetterperformanceofmechanicalsplicesinstalledinstructuralmembersshallbeexpectedonlyifmaterialsandmethodsofassemblyaresimilartothematerialsandmethodsusedinthetests.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofmechanicalsplicesforreinforcingbars.Thevarioustestshereindescribedcanbespecifiedintotalorindividually.1.2Thetestmethodshereindescribedareapplicabletoanytypeofmechanicalsplicemanufacturedtojoinsteelreinforcingbarsofanygrade(specifiedminimumyieldstrength),uncoatedorcoated.1.3Thisstandarddescribesonlythemethodsfortestingmechanicalsplicesforsteelreinforcingbars,butdoesnotquantifytheparametersfortestingnoracceptancecriteria,whichmustbespecified.Note18212;Variouscode-writingbodiesspecifyvariousparameters,suchastestloads,numberofcyclesandtesttemperature,fortesting.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
